Bitcoin moved above $63,000 in early July, recovering ground lost at the end of June and reaching its highest point in more than a month, according to reporting from CoinDesk. The move came during a session marked by reduced trading activity around the July 4 holiday in the United States.
A Rebound After End-of-June Weakness
The advance reversed losses recorded in the final days of June, when the token had traded lower. CoinDesk reported that Bitcoin's climb pushed it to levels not seen in over a month. Thin holiday trading conditions can amplify price swings, as lower volumes often mean individual transactions carry more weight in setting market direction.
