Tesla has announced what it describes as the first move toward putting people inside its Cybercab, a robotaxi designed without a steering wheel or pedals. According to reporting by Electrek, the company said that "Cybercab employee rides at Giga Texas" are "starting soon," marking an early stated milestone for the vehicle's passenger-carrying ambitions.

The message was distributed across two of Tesla's accounts and, per Electrek, accumulated roughly 2.9 million combined views. The framing positions the effort as an internal program at the company's Texas manufacturing site, offering rides to employees rather than the general public. Beyond that, the announcement contained limited specifics on scope, timing, or the number of vehicles involved.
