Apple Sets September 9 Event for New iPhones and Foldable iPhone Ultra
Apple is expected to unveil new iPhone and Apple Watch models on September 9, including its first foldable phone, the iPhone Ultra.

Apple is scheduled to hold its annual iPhone launch event on September 9, where it is widely expected to introduce new iPhone and Apple Watch models. According to Engadget, the presentation will be led by new Apple chief executive John Ternus.
GSMArena reports that the event is expected to include the iPhone Ultra, described as the company's first foldable smartphone. Citing a report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, GSMArena says Apple has effectively been developing the device for roughly a decade.
The same report indicates that Apple had aimed to price the iPhone Ultra at $1,999. Due to a memory chip shortage and steep price increases, the device is now expected to start at $2,199, with the top configuration, presumably featuring 1TB of storage, priced higher.
