These terms cover your use of AfroEuropa. They are meant to be readable. If something here seems unfair or unclear, tell us.
AfroEuropa is operated by Doyenify OÜ (registry code 16881089), of Juhan Sütiste tee 52-35, Tallinn, Estonia. "We" and "us" mean that company; "you" means you. By using the site you accept these terms.
Read it, link to it, and quote it. Specifically, you may quote a short extract for commentary, criticism or news reporting, provided you credit AfroEuropa and link to the original article.
What you may not do without our written permission:
The words, layout and design are ours. Photographs are generally licensed from third parties or used under their own terms and credited on the story — a licence to us is not a licence to you, so do not lift our images.
Most articles here are produced by our newsroom engine, which writes from other outlets' public reporting and credits it. Every such article says so, and lists its sources. We explain the whole arrangement on our About page and in our Editorial & Sourcing Policy.
Be aware of what follows from that: our stories can contain errors, including errors our sources made and errors of our own. We publish news, not advice. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or professional advice, and you should not make a decision that matters to you on the strength of an article alone — check the primary sources we link to. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.
You are responsible for what you post, and you keep ownership of it. By posting you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the site.

Comments are moderated before they appear. We can remove anything, or block anyone, at our discretion — this is our site, not a public forum, and there is no right of appeal.
The site carries advertising, including Google AdSense — see our Privacy Policy for the data side of that. Sponsored placements are labelled. An ad on the page is not an endorsement, and advertisers get no say over our editorial coverage. We are not responsible for what advertisers claim or for what happens on their sites.
We link to our sources and other sites constantly — that is the point. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
We try to keep the site up, but we do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including individual articles.
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published here.

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, where Doyenify OÜ is established, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live — nothing here takes that away.
