Binance has opened two fresh trading competitions on its early-stage token platform, Binance Alpha, giving eligible users across markets — including Africa's fast-growing base of crypto traders — new avenues to earn token rewards. For African participants who increasingly rely on global exchanges to access early-stage Web3 assets, the campaigns illustrate how large platforms are structuring incentives to drive liquidity and onboard newer traders.
The Nexus (NEX) Competition
The Nexus Trading Competition runs through Binance Wallet on the Binance Alpha listing platform across two consecutive weekly windows. The first period runs from July 3 to July 10, 2026, and the second from July 10 to July 17, 2026 (UTC), according to Ventureburn.
