US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds have logged an eighth consecutive day of net inflows, bringing the cumulative total for the streak to $2.8 billion, according to reporting from Decrypt, Cointelegraph and CoinDesk.
The latest daily figure marked a slowdown, with inflows easing to $232.1 million, Cointelegraph reported. CoinDesk described the run as the longest streak of net inflows since April.
Bitcoin's price stayed close to the $80,000 level during the period. CoinDesk reported that Bitcoin held above $79,000 on Thursday, while Cointelegraph noted it was trading under $80,000. Both outlets described altcoins as drifting lower, though Cointelegraph said XRP funds recorded their largest inflow since January 5.
According to Decrypt, one analyst said August was on track to become the strongest month for inflows since October 2025 if the current pace continued.
