
Circle to Acquire Singapore Payments Firm Tazapay in $400 Million Deal
USDC issuer Circle has signed an agreement to buy cross-border payments infrastructure company Tazapay, with the transaction expected to close in 2027.

Circle Internet Group, the financial technology firm behind the USDC stablecoin, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Tazapay, a Singapore-based business-to-business cross-border payments infrastructure company. CoinDesk reported the deal is valued at $400 million.
Tazapay focuses on serving payment service providers and financial institutions. According to BitKE, the company processes more than $25 billion in annualized payment volume, works with over 60 banking and fintech partners, and operates local payout rails covering more than 100 markets.
The transaction is expected to close in 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, including sign-off from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
