FOX Sports recorded more than 17.2 billion content views across its digital and social platforms during the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup, making the tournament the most digitally viewed event in the broadcaster's history, according to Sports Video Group.
The outlet reported that FOX Sports tallied 542 million social-video views on the final Sunday of the tournament alone, its highest single-day figure. Central to the digital effort was an "Always On" livestream that remained live for 974 consecutive hours. The feature was distributed through the FOX Sports YouTube channel, TikTok (beginning with the Round of 32), Tubi, FOXSports.com, and the FOX Sports App.
Ricardo Perez-Selsky, FOX Sports senior director of digital production operations, attributed the results to the closest coordination yet between the company's digital and linear teams. As reported by Sports Video Group, he cited the combined work of executives including Dustin Myers, Kevin Callahan, and Mike Davies, saying the coordination between logistics and technology reflected a level of collaboration the company had not achieved before.
