
GTA 6 Pre-Orders Surge 436% After Netflix Gameplay Reveal, Sensor Tower Says
Analytics firm Sensor Tower estimates Grand Theft Auto 6 reservations jumped sharply after a 26-minute showcase aired on Netflix, with PS5 far ahead of Xbox.

Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 rose 436% on August 27, the day Rockstar Games aired an extended gameplay showcase on Netflix, compared with the previous day, according to estimates from analytics firm Sensor Tower reported by TechPowerUp. The increase carried into August 28, lifting the two-day gain to 572% against the prior 30-day average.
PlayStation 5 drove most of the activity. Sensor Tower estimated PS5 pre-orders climbed 606% on the 27th, while Xbox Series X|S reservations rose 127%. According to the firm, PS5 has led Xbox in GTA 6 pre-orders since it began tracking reservations in June, shortly after Rockstar opened them.
