
GTA 6 Preview Debuts on Netflix as Rockstar Reveals Map Twice the Size of GTA 5
Rockstar Games aired an extended gameplay look at Grand Theft Auto 6 on Netflix, with creators confirming its map dwarfs those of previous titles.

Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games released their first extended gameplay preview of Grand Theft Auto 6 through Netflix, according to GamesIndustry.biz. The roughly 20-minute presentation featured shootouts, cutscenes, driving mechanics, and a sequence in which the character Lucia leaps from a skyscraper, revealing the scale of the game's fictional state of Leonida, as reported by TechPowerUp.
Details on the map's size came from creators given a behind-the-scenes look at the game. YouTuber TGG, one of those creators, said Rockstar developers told him the map is twice the size of the one in Grand Theft Auto 5 and three times the size of the map in Red Dead Redemption 2, according to TechPowerUp. TGG added that Vice City is twice the size of Los Santos, and that Vice City with its surrounding suburbs is 11 times larger than Los Santos and its surroundings.
