Humanoid raises €133M Series A, becomes Europe's newest robotics unicorn
The UK-based industrial robotics firm reached a €1.1 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to €236 million two years after launch.

Humanoid, a UK-based AI and robotics company developing industrial humanoid robots, has announced a €133 million ($152 million) Series A round at a €1.1 billion ($1.35 billion) post-money valuation. The financing makes the company one of Europe's newest unicorns and lifts its total amount raised to date to €236 million ($270 million).
The round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital, and Aglaé Ventures.
According to Tech.eu, the company builds wheeled robots aimed at addressing labour shortages in manufacturing, logistics and other sectors. Its approach combines proprietary robotics hardware with an in-house AI system called KinetIQ, designed to let robots interpret and carry out physical tasks in industrial settings.
