Beelzebub, an Italy-based cybersecurity startup, has closed a €3 million seed round led solely by United Ventures, according to Tech.eu. The financing comes after an earlier €300,000 pre-seed backed by strategic investors and advisors, taking the company's cumulative funding to €3.3 million.
Founded by Mario Candela, the company builds an AI-native platform designed to defend organisations against cyberattacks that use artificial intelligence. Such attacks let adversaries automate the discovery of vulnerabilities, produce tailored malware and mount large-scale campaigns operating at machine speed.
