
Italy's Exein Raises $270 Million for Physical AI Security, Hits $1.7B Valuation
Rome-based Exein has closed a $270 million round at a $1.7 billion valuation, described by its backers as making it Europe's most valuable cybersecurity startup.

Exein, a cybersecurity company based in Rome, has raised €234 million ($270 million) at a €1.4 billion ($1.7 billion) valuation, according to reporting from EU-Startups and Ventureburn. The company said the round makes it the most valuable cybersecurity startup to come out of Europe.
The raise was announced on September 15. Ventureburn reported that Exein's valuation has grown 30 times over two years, and that its revenue in the first half of 2026 was four times higher than in the same period of 2025. EU-Startups reported that the company faces 5,000 attacks weekly.
