
Lenovo Named Founding Partner to Supply Hardware for Esports World Cup 2026
Lenovo will equip the 2026 Esports World Cup in Paris with Legion desktops and monitors, backing an event with a prize pool exceeding $75 million.

Lenovo has confirmed it will serve as a founding partner and official hardware supplier for the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC), an event set to be staged in Paris, France. The move deepens the company's presence in a European esports market that increasingly connects players, teams, and audiences across continents, and underscores the growing role of consumer hardware brands in competitive gaming infrastructure.
The Partnership and the Event
According to TechPowerUp, the Esports Foundation has partnered with Lenovo to provide the machines and displays used by competitors. All participating players will compete on Lenovo Legion Tower 7i and Tower 5i gaming desktops. A new element for the 2026 edition is the inclusion of Legion monitors, meaning athletes will use Lenovo displays in addition to the desktop systems.
