Nvidia has removed the GeForce RTX 5080 from the listings on its US marketplace, roughly two weeks after the GeForce RTX 5090 was pulled from the same store, according to reports from Tom's Hardware and TechPowerUp.
The graphics card filter on Nvidia's US store now tops out at the RTX 5070 Ti, followed by the RTX 5070, RTX 5060 Ti, RTX 5060 and RTX 5050, TechPowerUp reported. Partner RTX 5080 models have also been taken down. Despite the removal, the RTX 5080 product page still lists a starting price of $999.
Pricing on the retail market has risen sharply. Tom's Hardware reported that street prices for the RTX 5080 have climbed to more than 2.2 times its $999 launch price, with the card gradually selling out at various US retailers. TechPowerUp noted the card costs close to $2,000 at US retailers, around double its MSRP.
