
Open Cosmos Raises €300M to Grow Satellite Manufacturing and Services
The European satellite company plans to expand production and speed up the rollout of its connectivity and Earth observation offerings.

European satellite company Open Cosmos has raised €300 million in new funding to increase its satellite manufacturing capacity and accelerate the deployment of its connectivity and Earth observation services, according to Tech.eu and Sifted.
The round was led by European investors. Tech.eu reported that participants included ETF Partners, Lightrock, British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), Institut Català de Finances (ICF) and Entrepreneurs First. Convex, the National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF), Phoenix Court (home of LocalGlobe and Latitude) and Claret Capital Partners also took part.
