Rockstar Addresses GTA VI Leaks After Legal Action Over Cyberleek
Rockstar Games has publicly commented on extensive Grand Theft Auto VI leaks, calling them heartbreaking, as Take-Two pursues the anonymous source through the courts.

Rockstar Games has issued a public statement about the recent leaks of Grand Theft Auto VI, describing them as heartbreaking to the development team and apologising for the game's long development period, according to TechPowerUp and GamesIndustry.biz.
The leaks have been attributed to an entity known as Cyberleek, which shared material said to reveal closely guarded details of the game. According to TechPowerUp, the exposed information included game mechanics, the full map, driving and vehicle designs, and various non-player character interactions.
Take-Two, Rockstar's parent company and the game's publisher, had previously taken legal steps to identify the leaker, issuing subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord. TechPowerUp reported that these efforts did not appear to stop the leaks, which continued afterwards. It also noted that the companies publicly acknowledging the material lends weight to the leaker's claims, despite earlier doubts about their authenticity.
