Samsung Partners With France's Mistral AI to Boost Semiconductor Operations

Samsung Electronics has struck a strategic partnership with French artificial intelligence company Mistral AI, aiming to strengthen its semiconductor engineering and manufacturing work, according to a company announcement reported by TechPowerUp.
The deal was unveiled during a state summit in Paris between South Korea and France.
Under the agreement, Samsung will deploy Mistral's AI services and solutions across its chip operations, including the company's flagship large language model, Mistral Large. The goal is to build customized on-premises AI models tailored to what the two companies describe as intelligence-driven infrastructure.
