Southeast Asia's blockchain sector has attracted $680 million in equity funding during 2026 so far, more than twice the $319 million raised across all of 2025, according to data from Tracxn cited by BitKE.
The rebound has come from fewer transactions rather than broader participation. Only 25 funding rounds have closed in 2026, compared with 46 in 2025 and 206 in 2022.
Much of the total is concentrated in a small group of companies. A $400 million Series D round for Crypto.com makes up close to 60% of the 2026 figure. Two other deals, a $100 million Series D for Edena Capital and a $50 million Series A for Startale, bring the combined share of the top three rounds to roughly 81% of regional funding.
