
Tarsus Distribution CEO Emile Burger Steps Down
Emile Burger is leaving his role as chief executive of Tarsus Distribution after a tenure that also saw him serve as the company's finance chief.

Emile Burger is resigning as chief executive officer of Tarsus Distribution, one of South Africa's prominent technology distribution businesses, according to a report by ITWeb.
The company said Burger will step down following what it described as a successful period at the helm. Before taking on the CEO role, he served as the company's chief financial officer, giving him a broad view of both the operational and financial sides of the distributor.
A Leadership Transition in African Tech Distribution
Technology distributors like Tarsus play a critical role in moving hardware, software and related products from global vendors into local and regional markets. In South Africa specifically, distributors act as a bridge between international manufacturers—many based in Europe, the United States and Asia—and the resellers, retailers and enterprises that serve end customers across the continent.
