Vivo has taken its X500 smartphone line to international markets, bringing out the standard X500, the X500 Pro and the X500 Pro Max. The phones had already debuted in China the previous month, prompting questions about when they would reach buyers elsewhere.

The entry-level model is on sale in parts of Southeast Asia. In Malaysia, GSMArena reported, the X500 begins at MYR 4,699 (around $1,149 converted) for the 12/256GB configuration and rises to MYR 5,299 (about $1,296) for a higher-tier version.
