
Zimbabwe's SEC Approves Seven Fintech Solutions for Regulatory Sandbox
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe has cleared seven fintech solutions, several blockchain-based, to begin supervised testing in its regulatory sandbox.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe has approved a set of financial technology solutions to take part in supervised testing under its Regulatory Sandbox Guidelines, the regulator said in a statement carried by BitKE.
The approved solutions include the Zimbabwe Entrepreneurship Exchange, described as a blockchain-driven capital raising platform; Ndarama Standard (Private) Limited, a synthetic trading platform; Crowdaxe Capital (Private) Limited, a web-based crowdfunding platform; Procode Platforms (Private) Limited, a securities tokenisation platform; Financial Securities Exchange (Private) Limited, an asset tokenisation offering; and Comin Resources Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, an infrastructure tokenisation solution. Cointelegraph reported that seven fintech projects were admitted to the program.
