A series of financing announcements across the United States and Europe has highlighted continued investor activity in companies building artificial intelligence into specialised sectors, from mortgage servicing to legal research.
Valon raises $150 million for mortgage servicing
According to Ventureburn, Valon has closed a $150 million Series D round at a $2.3 billion valuation, doubling its previous valuation. New investor Ribbit Capital joined existing backers including Andreessen Horowitz. The company said the funds would support product development and hiring across engineering, product, deployment and go-to-market roles in New York, San Francisco and remote positions. Founded in 2019, Valon operates ValonOS, a platform that consolidates loan data, investor reporting, compliance logic and money movement into a single system, and provides AI agents for regulated servicing tasks such as answering homeowner emails, allocating payments and performing escrow analyses.
