
Apple Confirms iPhone 18 Pro Max Network Bug on AT&T
Apple has acknowledged a connectivity issue affecting the iPhone 18 Pro Max on AT&T's network, with some devices dropping into SOS mode.

Apple has confirmed a network problem affecting the iPhone 18 Pro Max when used on AT&T's network, according to reporting from Engadget. The company described the fault as a hardware issue and outlined which users would need a device replacement.
The issue leaves some affected handsets unable to connect normally, with devices falling back into SOS mode, Engadget reported.
Separately, GSMArena reported that Apple released iOS 27.0.1 earlier in the week, following the initial iOS 27 rollout in September. According to Apple, the update addresses a separate problem that caused the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to restart after a failed Face ID authentication.
