Apple has begun accepting apps built for its forthcoming iPhone Duo, according to GSMArena, which reported that developers can now submit titles through App Store Connect ahead of the device's launch.
The company has published guidance and recommendations to help developers adapt their apps to the new handset. Submissions must be built using Xcode 27.1, a release Apple has already made available for download.
GSMArena reported that the iPhone Duo will be open for pre-order on October 16, with deliveries scheduled to begin on October 23. By opening submissions in advance, Apple aims to have compatible apps ready when the device reaches customers.
