Apple's iPhone Duo Could Push Developers to Fix Foldable Apps, Google Says

Google's Android ecosystem president, Sameer Samat, has suggested that growing consumer interest in foldable phones could finally give app developers a stronger incentive to optimize their software for larger screens, a problem that has persisted across the Android platform for years.
Speaking to Tom's Guide, Samat said developers see more value in investing in foldable layouts as the form factor grows in popularity, according to Android Authority. He acknowledged that some apps still have not properly adapted to foldable displays, adding that the developers behind them are either working on improvements or already in discussions with Google.
