
Apple's macOS Tahoe Release Candidate Appears to Leak Camera AirPods and Product Codenames
A demo video and codenames found in the latest macOS release candidate point to camera-equipped AirPods and other unreleased Apple hardware.

A recent macOS release candidate appears to have exposed details about several unreleased Apple products, including AirPods fitted with cameras.
According to Engadget, Apple's macOS Tahoe 26.7 release candidate contained a video that seems to show camera-equipped AirPods. GSMArena reported that the demo clip was discovered by MacRumors in the same release candidate. In the footage, a wearer picks up a book and asks a question, after which a voiceover describes a feature called Visual Intelligence, saying that a user can ask to save something they see.
GSMArena noted that Apple has long been rumored to be developing AirPods with built-in cameras, and that a recent rumor had claimed the project, referred to as AirPods Ultra, was cancelled. The newly surfaced video shows the hardware in action despite that report.
