Apple's rumored smart home display could go on sale as early as next month, according to reporting summarized by Android Authority, which cites Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
The device is said to include its own home screen, widgets, and clock faces, and to lean heavily on Siri-based AI. It is also expected to support facial recognition using technology comparable to what Google has offered on Pixel phones since the Pixel 8.
Gurman's reporting indicates that Apple is testing the smart home display in the homes of several employees. The hardware is described as featuring Wi-Fi support, an advanced display, a camera, and microphones. Its interface is reported to resemble a blend of iOS, tvOS, and watchOS.
