
Berlin ConTech Startup Kuro Raises €10 Million for AI Aimed at General Contractors
Kuro Technology, founded in 2024, secured €10 million in a round led by UVC Partners to expand its AI software for construction back-office work.

Kuro Technology, a Berlin-based construction technology startup, has raised €10 million to develop AI software for general contractors, according to EU-Startups.
The round was led by UVC Partners, a venture capital firm based in Munich and Berlin that manages more than €800 million in assets. UVC Partners has previously backed companies including Isar Aerospace, Proxima Fusion, and Aleph Alpha. Additional investors in the round were Foundamental, Realyze Ventures, and helloworld.
Kuro was founded in November 2024 by Lea Scherer and Jonas Minkler, who had previously held leadership roles at the construction-tech firms alcemy and Capmo. The company employs 16 people and builds a platform aimed at addressing inefficiencies faced by general contractors.
