Bitcoin Tops $80,000 to Three-Month High as Gold Rallies on Soft Dollar

Bitcoin pushed above $80,000 on Tuesday, reaching its highest level in more than three months, as a softer U.S. dollar and renewed momentum across the crypto sector lifted prices. According to Ventureburn, the cryptocurrency peaked at $81,237.94 during Asian trading hours before easing back to $80,323.24, its strongest level since mid-May.
BitKE reported that the move above $80,000 marked the first such level since May 15, 2026, extending a recovery of roughly 38% from lows in late June and early July, when Bitcoin briefly slipped below $58,000. Ventureburn put the asset's August gain at 28%, which would make it the largest monthly advance since November 2024, and noted a 16% rise since U.S. President Donald Trump urged Congress last week to pass legislation clarifying rules for the digital asset sector.
