BNB Chain has laid out a 2026 roadmap centred on a new layer-1 network designed for artificial intelligence agents and high-frequency trading, according to reporting from Decrypt and CoinDesk. The plan is likely to draw attention across the Africa–Europe technology corridor, where developers, exchanges and fintech firms increasingly build on high-throughput blockchain infrastructure and watch competition among major networks closely.
What the roadmap proposes
According to Decrypt, the roadmap targets faster transactions, AI-powered applications and infrastructure intended to compete with traditional financial systems, while also preparing for a future in which quantum computing could affect existing cryptographic methods.
