
Bristol's Uplift360 Wins Luxembourg Defence Deal for Sovereign Materials
British startup Uplift360 has secured a multi-year framework agreement with Luxembourg's Directorate of Defence to bolster Europe's supply of critical advanced materials.

British advanced materials startup Uplift360 has been awarded a multi-year framework agreement with the Luxembourg Directorate of Defence (DOD), according to EU-Startups. The deal is aimed at reinforcing Europe's independent supply of high-performance materials used across the defence and industrial sectors.
A response to supply chain vulnerability
The agreement follows the launch of a multinational project on defence critical raw materials by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum. Uplift360 says its role under the arrangement is to produce advanced materials sourced exclusively from within Europe, with the goal of lowering the continent's dependence on external suppliers and reducing exposure to geopolitical disruption and supply chain fragility.
