
Bybit Says the Era of the Pure Crypto Exchange Is Ending

Bybit is presenting itself as a broader financial platform rather than a venue focused mainly on cryptocurrencies, arguing that the model of the pure crypto exchange is coming to an end. According to BitKE, Bybit Co-Founder and CEO Ben Zhou said customers increasingly want access to stocks, gold, foreign exchange and other financial products alongside digital assets.
BitKE reported Zhou as saying that people who trade crypto also want stocks, gold, forex, indices and derivatives, and that they want to pay, save and grow their wealth in one place.
The comments accompanied the launch of Bybit's "Make Your Move" global campaign, which the company frames as its repositioning toward a wider financial offering. Bybit said its platform now covers crypto, stocks, gold, forex, indices and derivatives, along with payments, spending, wealth and institutional services.
