
Callosum Raises $100M Seed to Route AI Workloads Across Chips and Models
The London-based startup, founded by Cambridge neuroscientists, closed an Atomico-led round to advance what it calls heterogeneous intelligence.

Callosum, a London-based startup building software infrastructure that lets AI workloads run across different chips and AI models, has raised $100 million (about €85.4 million) in a seed round, according to Tech.eu, Sifted and EU-Startups.
The round was led by European venture firm Atomico, with significant participation from early-stage investor Plural, US firm DCVC and the UK Sovereign AI Fund, alongside additional investors and angels. The UK government formally launched the Sovereign AI initiative, worth €573 million (£500 million), in April 2026 to support British AI startups in areas considered strategically important for economic growth and national security, EU-Startups reported.
