Dominion Dynamics, an Ottawa-based defence technology startup, has closed a Series A round worth $139 million CAD (about US$100 million) — a figure that, according to Ventureburn, is believed to be the largest single Series A ever raised by a Canadian defence technology company. The deal signals growing investor appetite for sovereign security capabilities at a moment when global powers are competing for influence across the Arctic.
