Two European startups have closed fresh funding rounds aimed at the same persistent problem: industries that still run on email threads, PDFs and spreadsheets long after software promised to fix them. Hypefy AI, founded in Croatia, raised $7.2 million in Series A capital, while Nomerra picked up $2 million in its first round, according to reporting by Tech.eu. Both signal continued investor appetite for European AI plays built for global markets rather than local niches.
For the Africa↔Europe corridor, the stories matter because both companies are building horizontal automation layers that scale across borders — the kind of infrastructure that lowers the cost of running campaigns or fund operations in multiple markets at once, including emerging ones where qualified operational talent is scarce.
