
European and Icelandic startups raise fresh capital for AI-driven automation platforms
A wave of Series A and seed rounds spanning Germany, Iceland, Spain and beyond funds AI agents and analytics for industry, real estate, healthcare and business data.

Several technology startups across Europe and beyond have announced new funding rounds, most of them centred on artificial intelligence tools for automating industrial, commercial and operational tasks.
Magentic, which builds AI-powered digital workers for industrial companies, raised $18 million in a Series A round a year after launching. Felicis led the financing, with existing investors Sequoia Capital and The Westly Group taking part. According to Tech.eu, Magentic's multi-agent systems operate through tools employees already use, such as Microsoft Teams, email and internal company systems, and can handle procurement and operational workflows end to end. That includes deciding whether to buy or build, choosing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing orders and processing invoices, across both indirect procurement and direct spend on raw materials.
