
European Startups Raise €15.8B in September, Nearly Five Times August's Total
Funding rebounded sharply across Europe in September, driven by large AI and cloud rounds, while the UK led fundraising and Germany topped exit activity.

European technology startups secured €15.8 billion across 300 funding deals in September, a sharp rebound from August's €3.2 billion raised over 165 deals, according to data reported by Tech.eu. The figures represent an increase of roughly 394 per cent in funding value, with deal volume rising around 82 per cent month on month.
Of the 300 deals recorded, 25 companies each raised more than €100 million, and three rounds surpassed €1 billion, secured by Mistral and Nscale. The value of 34 deals was not disclosed. The month's largest single round came from French artificial intelligence company Mistral, which raised €3 billion in a Series D round at a post-money valuation of more than €21 billion.
