German AI startup kausable raises €12M for self-adapting 'reasoning-first' models
The Heidelberg-linked DeepTech company aims to build AI that adjusts to new contexts without costly retraining, backed by UVC Partners and Entourage.

kausable, a German DeepTech startup, has raised €12 million in a Seed round to develop what it calls reasoning-first frontier AI, models designed to adapt on their own to changing conditions without further retraining.
The round was led by UVC Partners and Entourage, with follow-on investment from German backers HTGF and Mätch VC. According to EU-Startups, the company is also supported by private angel investors from the AI industry and academia, including individuals working at Black Forest Labs, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Noxtua, and the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS).
