
German startups raise fresh capital for AI operations and used-EV resale platforms

Two German startups have announced new funding rounds aimed at expanding their platforms across Europe.
Berlin-based telli, an AI company founded in 2024 by Seb Hapte-Selassie, Philipp Baumanns and Finn zur Muehlen, raised $15 million in a seed round led by redalpine, according to Tech.eu. Mutschler, Cherry Ventures, Y Combinator and several angel investors also took part, lifting the company's total funding above $18.5 million. telli builds AI agents that help business-to-consumer companies automate customer-facing operations across voice, chat, SMS, WhatsApp and email. Its platform lets businesses deploy agents, manage conversations, analyse interactions and automate workflows spanning sales, service and support. A central feature called Charlie is an AI coworker intended to help customer operations teams build and refine agents, link internal systems and improve communications. The company says its agents already handle millions of customer conversations for clients ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to larger organisations.
