Google's newly released Googlebook laptops have launched with a notable gap for buyers who own Samsung phones. According to Android Authority, the devices currently do not support the "Better Together" cross-device features when paired with handsets from Samsung, the largest Android smartphone maker.

Google has confirmed that support for Android 17-compatible Samsung phones will arrive over the coming weeks, Android Authority reported. The outlet noted that Googlebooks are priced between $900 and $1,300, and suggested Samsung owners weighing a purchase may prefer to wait until the cross-device features are functional.
