Google's New Pixel Search App Debuts on Pixel 11, Also Appears on Galaxy Z Fold 8

Google's latest Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro phones include a new utility called Pixel search, which expands what the app drawer's search bar can locate, according to Android Authority.
The search bar built into the Pixel app drawer has for some time been able to find more than just installed apps. On the Pixel 11 series, Google has extended system-wide search so it can surface specific photos, files stored in Google Drive, and additional content such as emails. That expanded capability is delivered through the Pixel search app.
Pixel search comes preinstalled on Pixel 11-series devices and is updated via the Play Store. Android Authority reports it is currently available only on Pixel 11 phones. Early signs of the software appeared in an Android 17 beta earlier this year, and the app has now reached customers who have received their Pixel 11-series handsets.
