
How EIC-Backed Startups Convert Trade Fair Buzz Into Real Deals
European Innovation Council support programmes are helping DeepTech startups turn international exposure into contracts, pilots and partnerships.

European DeepTech startups often leave international trade fairs with a stack of business cards but few concrete outcomes. According to EU-Startups, companies backed by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Business Acceleration Services are showing how that exposure can lead to measurable results, such as commercial contracts, pilot projects and technology partnerships.
Structured support beyond the badge
The EIC provides several mechanisms designed to move companies from visibility to revenue. The EIC International Trade Fairs Programme offers a dedicated presence at global events, along with business coaching, targeted matchmaking and promotional opportunities, EU-Startups reported. A separate initiative, the EIC Corporate Partnership Programme, connects innovators with large corporations seeking technologies they can test in real operational environments.
