JP Morgan has told investors that demand for Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is holding up well, with sales in China running stronger than those of the equivalent 17 Pro models a year earlier, according to GSMArena.
The assessment comes alongside reports that Apple is reducing component orders, a move that might otherwise be read as a sign of soft demand. In their note, the analysts characterised the production cut as a routine adjustment that the company often makes following a major iPhone launch.
JP Morgan linked the adjustment to Apple's staggered release schedule. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max went on sale in September, while the non-Pro versions are set to arrive early next year, according to GSMArena.
