JPMorgan Chase has named artificial intelligence chip startup SambaNova as an infrastructure partner, according to Finextra Research. The bank is deploying SambaNova's systems to support AI inference carried out on its own premises rather than through external cloud services.
What the Deal Involves

SambaNova is described as a startup focused on chips designed for artificial intelligence tasks, positioning it as a hardware alternative in a market where demand for specialised AI processors continues to grow.
