Logibot Raises €1.4M for Hardware-Agnostic Logistics Robot Software

The platform covers the full automation process: analysing existing operational flows to identify opportunities, validating performance inside a digital twin before physical deployment, training the machinery for a given task, integrating units into ongoing operations, and monitoring them through remote teleoperation.

Both outlets described the effort as building a "temp agency for robots" aimed at Europe's warehouse labour shortage. Sorting and distribution centres struggle to fill physically demanding roles, often at sites far from the labour market. Temporary staff can cost up to 40 percent more than permanent hires, and high turnover pushes up operating costs through repeated retraining. Across Europe, roughly 2.5 million people in logistics still perform manual groundwork such as sorting parcels and moving cages.

Motion, which offers humanoid robots on a subscription basis, plans to move its five Belgian pilots into commercial deployment and grow its fleet across Europe.
