
Mattel Unveils Full-Scale Brick Model of Original Xbox for Console's 25th Anniversary
The 3,509-piece set recreates Microsoft's first Xbox and its controller, with modules inspired by three classic games. It is priced at $330.

Mattel has announced a buildable, 1:1-scale display model of the original Microsoft Xbox console, released to mark the platform's 25th anniversary. The set is part of Mattel's premium building line, Mattel Brick Shop, and is available for presale at select retailers worldwide, including Amazon, Best Buy and Mattel Creations.
The model contains 3,509 pieces and recreates the full-size Xbox console along with its controller. It includes three modules inspired by games associated with the platform: Halo: Combat Evolved, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Psychonauts. Each of the three game-themed modules can be detached and displayed on its own. The set also comes with 12 NanoWorld figures for recreating scenes from the featured titles.
According to Engadget, the set is priced at $330, and its controller interacts with the three game-inspired dioramas.
