Memory Chip Costs Push Up Prices on AYN Odin 3 and Apple's iPhone 18
AYN has raised the price of its Odin 3 handheld again, while reports point to a $100 increase across Apple's iPhone 18 line, both linked to rising memory chip costs.

Handheld maker AYN has announced a further price increase for its Odin 3 Android device, according to Android Authority. The company shared the news on Discord, with the increases ranging from $20 to $30. As a result, the Odin 3 now starts at $369.
Android Authority notes that buyers can still avoid the higher pricing by acting before it takes effect. The publication describes the Odin 3 as the most powerful Android handheld currently available, citing a chipset that is effectively equivalent to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and says the device is well suited to demanding emulation and games. According to the outlet, this is not the first increase this year, with earlier hikes tied to the ongoing RAM shortage.
