Mercedes-Benz Signs Wayve for AI Driver as Tesla FSD Clears Czechia
Mercedes-Benz agreed to integrate Wayve's AI Driver into production cars within two years, while Tesla's FSD (Supervised) gained recognition in a seventh EU state.

Mercedes-Benz has entered a definitive production agreement with British self-driving startup Wayve to bring its "AI Driver" system into future vehicles, according to Electrek. Integration is set to begin within the next two years.
Electrek reported that this marks the first time Wayve's end-to-end driving AI will be built into a production car in the premium segment. The agreement builds on an existing relationship: Mercedes-Benz took part in Wayve's $1.5 billion Series D funding round earlier this year.
According to InsideEVs, Mercedes also has a comparable arrangement with Nvidia to deliver point-to-point driver assistance for its CLA model.
