
MetaMask Launches Yield-Bearing Money Account — But Not in Europe

MetaMask, one of the most widely used self-custody crypto wallets, has rolled out a new product called Money Account that combines stablecoin yield, spending and trading in a single interface. The launch is notable for European observers for what it leaves out: according to Cointelegraph, the account is not available in the UK or the EU at launch.
What the Money Account offers
The new account is built around bringing stablecoins beyond their traditional roles in trading and transfers. As CoinDesk reported, the move reflects a wider industry effort to make digital dollars more practical for everyday use. MetaMask is positioning the product as a way to hold, spend and grow stablecoin balances without giving up self-custody.
